Fight the Bear

live at Farmer Phil's

a review by Tony Krimzon

A four-piece pop-rock outfit from Bishops Castle in Shropshire, Fight the Bear have been pleasing local audiences for more than ten years. With several recordings to their credit they have developed a writing and playing style that sits comfortably with a wide-ranging audience. Hints of reggae intermingled with catchy guitar riffs, catchy lyrics, pumping bass and solid, tight drumming ensured a crowd-pleasing set.

From the opening song to the last, the revellers in front of the main stage showed appreciation, dancing and singing along.
